Javier Calamanco –Estrada, 50 of Sioux City passed away Tuesday November 22, 2011 at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City with the Rev. Oscar Perez officiating. Following the service the body will be cremated and graveside services will be at a later date in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. Sunday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with a scriptural wake service at 7 P.M. Javier was born July 10, 1961 in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico the son of Francisco Calamanco and Enriqueta Estrada. He became a United States citizen and was formerly employed at Tyson Meat Packing in Dakota City until retiring due to poor health. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City. Survivors include five sons: Francisco and his wife Rebecca and their children: Francisco, Jr., Cynthia and Calista Calamanco of Sioux City, Jose and Kyle of Sioux City, and two sons in Mexico, two daughters Marisela Calamanco and her children: Angel, Amy, Jessie and Olivia, and a daughter in Mexico, four brothers: Manuel and his wife Beatriz Calamanco, Emilio and Enrique Calalmanco all of South Sioux City and Antonio Ramos of Mexico and his companion Rebecca Grant of Sioux City.
