David A. Ibsgaard, 43 of Sioux City, IA passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at Crossroads Evangelical Church in South Sioux City with the Rev. Clyde Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at Crossroads Evangelical Church. Becker-Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. David was born January 9, 1969 in Iowa City, IA the son of Robert and Sandra (Fredrickson) Ibsgaard. He graduated from Kansas. He was employed for Walmart and was on the South Sioux City Fire Department for five years. He married Patricia Webb on September 25, 1992 in Dakota City. He was a member of Crossroads Evangelical Church. Survivors include his son: Colton Ibsgaard and his daughter: Kaylyn Ibsgaard both of Garrison, NE, his parents: Robert and Sandra Ibsgaard of Sioux City, four brothers: Jason and his wife Suzanne VanThuyne of Sgt. Bluff, IA, Bobby Childers, Jeremy VanThuyne and Alfred VanThuyne all of Sioux City and two sisters: Janelle and her husand Kent Fullen of Kansas and Theresa Ibsgaard of Sioux City.
