Sharon V. Barclay, 72 of South Sioux City passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at River Hills Church in South Sioux City with the Rev. Kevin Roach officiating. There will be a lunch at the church following the service. Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday in Taylor Cemetery, rural Homer, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the church. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Sharon was born May 17, 1940 in Walthill, Nebraska the daughter of Andrew and Mae (Hiserote) Rose. She attended South Sioux City Schools. She was a lifelong resident of South Sioux City. She married Francis Cain. She later married Roy Barclay on February 27, 1964 in Luverne, Minnesota. She was a member of Riverhills Church. Survivors include her husband Roy of Walthill, Ne, two sons: Joe Cain of Akron, Iowa, David Barclay of South Sioux City, a daughter: Tammy and her husband Phil Meyer of Storm Lake, Iowa, a brother: Charles and his wife Nancy Rose of South Sioux City, two sisters: Rosie Hawkins and Diana and her husband Doug Grundy all of Sioux City, four grandchildren: Christie Barclay, Josh Cain, Andrew Smith, Emily Cain and two great grandchildren: Ethan Cain and McKenna Cain.
