Judith Ann Parr, 72 of Sioux City, formerly of South Sioux City, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at a Sioux City Hospital. There will be an opportunity to share memories with the family, from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Saturday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home. A private graveside will be in St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery. Judith was born July 16, 1939, in South Sioux City, Nebraska the daughter of Daniel and Lila Burns – Spangler. After graduation from high school, she married Neal W. Parr May 31, 1958, in Elk Point, South Dakota. The couple lived in South Sioux City until moving to Sioux City in 1999. She was of the catholic faith. She loved her family and grandkids. She will be remembered as a beloved mother and sister. Survivors include her husband Neal, two sons: Jeff of Sioux City, Rich and his wife Terry Parr of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, two daughters and their husbands: Laurie and John Lukken of Omaha, Nebraska, Jamie and Keith Schubert of Hinton, Iowa, a brother Richard and his wife Millie Burns of Springfield, Illinois, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Carol Wagner and a granddaughter Erika Parr.
