Dianna R. Kruse. 60, formerly of South Sioux City passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 in Sioux Falls, SD. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City with the Rev. John Sears pastor of the First Christian Church in Onawa, Iowa officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. There will be a lunch and fellowship with the family at the Dakota City United Methodist Church following the burial. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Dianna was born August 24, 1951, in Sioux City the daughter of Ralph B. and Dorothy L. (Stowers) Barrs. She married William C. Kruse October 11, 1968 in Elk Point, S.D. He died September 21, 1999 in Sioux City. She was a longtime resident of South Sioux City until moving to Sioux Falls in 2007 to be near family. Survivors include three daughters: Stacy and her husband Bruce Huisenga of Sioux Falls, Billie Jo Kruse of Castana, IA, Marcie Kruse and her fiance' Brian Gray both of Harrisburg, SD, three sisters: Linda Schovanec of Dakota City, Pat Williamson of Lafayette, IN, Cindy Arndt of South Sioux City, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her mother Dorothy Barrs of South Sioux City. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband. William, a brother Ralph “Jim” Barrs, a sister Nancy Benson and a nephew Adam Barrs. Pallbearers will be John and Raymond Goodier, Bruce Huisenga, Cody Criger, Brian Gray and Frank Schovanec.
