David A. Plendl, 49 of Sioux City passed away Sunday October 28, 2012 at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City with the Rev. Jerry Gilbreath officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. David was born May 21, 1963 in Sioux City the son of Ernest F. and Joanne E. (Mahar) Plendl. He was employed in janitor services and was also employed at Perkins Restaurant before poor health forced him to become unemployed. Survivors include three brothers: Richard and his wife Sue of Sioux City, Kevin of Watertown, WS, Eric of Milwaukee, WS, a sister Lynn Plendl of Watertown, WS, his mother Joanne of Beaver Dam, WS and nieces and nephews. Following the graveside service there will be a gathering with the family at Sherry’s Fourth Street Café on 4th and Water Streets in Sioux City.
