Regan Briana Coenen, 3 year old daughter of Ryan James and Stacey Lynn (Oldenburg) Coenen of Sioux City, passed away Tuesday January 8, 2013, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha from injuries received in an automobile accident in rural Dakota County, Nebraska. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 25, 2013, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Homer, Nebraska, with the Rev. Jeffrey Ungs officiating. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery, rural Homer, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Friday until service time at the church. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City is in charge of arrangements. Regan was born May 4, 2009 in Sioux City. She attended a Day Care in South Sioux City. She liked playing with her Barbie Dolls, riding her bike and playing with her brother Braden. Her favorite colors were pink and purple. She enjoy life and was always happy. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Homer. Survivors include her parents Ryan and Stacy of Sioux City, her brother Braden Donald Coenen at home, who was in the accident with her and is currently hospitalized, her maternal grandfather, Douglas Oldenburg of Homer, paternal grandparents, Don and Mary Coenen of Sioux City, three aunts, Andrea Reyna, Carrie (Benjamin) Bremmer, Tracy Coenen, one uncle, Wade (Lacey) Oldenburg and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Patricia “Pat” Oldenburg Sunday, January 6, 2013. Pallbearers will be: her daddy, Ryan Coenen, Wade Oldenburg, Ben Bremmer, Tom Austin, and Nick Martin. Memorials or donations in her name may be made to the Siouxland Federal Credit Union Oldenburg/Coenen Fund to help with expenses.
