Patricia Ann Pierson

Patricia A. “Pat” Pierson, 69 of Sioux City passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Berger officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Illinois. Patricia was born November 30, 1943 in Hammond, Indiana the daughter of Hubert and Dorothy M. (Clark) Gamblin. She was raised in Illinois and graduated from High School. She married Kim Scott Pierson on December 20, 1986 in Cedar Lake, Indiana. The couple moved to South Sioux City, Nebraska in 1987 and to Sioux City, Iowa in 1992. She was a former member of the Eagles in Indiana. Survivors include her husband: Kim Scott Pierson of Sioux City, IA, her mother-in-law: Jo Pierson of Crown Point, Indiana, a half-brother: Gene Gamblin of Florida and her extended family: Dawn Hays, David Hays, Shari Juarez, Kevin (Janet) Smith, Janet Reynolds, Les (Kyong) Smith, Mark Smith, Chris Strong all of Sioux City, Iowa and Virginia (Mark) Moody of Lewisville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother: Larry and a sister: Linda Gojdos.
