She married Arthur Widner and to this union three children were born Jacquelyn, Deborah and Thomas. Sharon left Nebraska with her husband and moved to California in 1976. She was a devoted housewife and mother. She spent every day putting her all in to taking care of her family. She had many friends who loved her dearly. She was known for taking into her care what some might call strays. People who needed someone to look after them were taken in with no questions asked. She loved unconditionally and never judged anyone in her life. It didn’t matter if you were perfect, or far from perfect, she gave her love equally. She was without a doubt a one of a kind daughter, sister, wife, sister-in-law, mother, grandma, aunt and friend. She loved and adored her nan and nan loved and adored her momba. She was a great cook, just ask Mary about her gravy. She loved her cat Mina, enjoyed doing puzzles, playing Yahtzee with red pen only. She also enjoyed sitting outside in the summer with her friends. She enjoyed the simple things in life and loved going to North Sioux City with Sandy and Jeannie Jackson. She left this world surrounded by her friends and family. Sherry knew she was loved by all of us. She will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Momma. Survivors include her son Thomas Widner and her daughter, Deborah Widner-Andersen both of Escondido, CA, a brother and his wife: Rick and Rita Miller of South Sioux City, two sisters: Sandy Miller of South Sioux City, Chrissy and her husband Roger Sandau of Council Bluffs, IA, seven grandchildren: Jensen, Justin, Savannah, Tanner, Josie, Julie and Emma and her nephews and nieces: Roger and Jacob Sandau and Ronnie and Rana Miller.
