Jon Charles Holloway

Jon Charles Holloway, 51 of Omaha, Nebraska formerly of Sioux City, passed away Friday June 28, 2013 in South Sioux City. Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Friendship Community Church in Sergeant Bluff with the Rev. Verlyn Schapp officiating. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Jon was born August 5, 1961 in Sioux City the son of Craig A. and Bev J. (Vanderbush) Holloway. He graduated from East High School. He loved his family. He enjoyed NASCAR , spending time by the river with his dogs. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends. He married Sheila Cooley. He attended Friendship Community Church. Survivors include his daughter Nikole Holloway 6-2 of Omaha, Sheila Holloway, two brothers James Holloway of Huron, SD, Jay Holloway of Anamosa, IA , three sisters: Jane Luchene of Yuma, AZ, Jody Gardner and Joetta Hearing both of Sioux City. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Joshua and a brother Jeff.
