Delores A. Gallup 83, of Dakota City passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at her residence after a short illness. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Glendale Baptist Church in Sioux City, Iowa with the Rev. Jim Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. Delores was born March 7, 1930 in South Sioux City the daughter of John and Doris (Coonen) Snyder. She was employed as a cook for Woolworth Cafeteria and Westwood Nursing Home. She was married to John McCord, Carl Eveland and Loris J. Gallup. She loved music boxes and had a large collection of them. She also enjoyed watching old television shows, especially Perry Mason and other detective shows and game shows. She attended Glendale Baptist Church. Survivors include her Son-In-Law Harry Mastne of Dakota City, NE, a brother: Willard and his wife Shirley Snyder of Sioux City, two sisters-in-law: Marcella Snyder of Sioux City and Charlyne Snyder of South Sioux City, three granddaughters, numerous great grandchildren and her beloved caregiver Kristy Larson and her canine friend Ebony. She was preceded in death by her three husbands, a son Ronald Gallup, her daughter Carol Mastne, three brothers and two sisters. Pallbearers will be Jerry Larson, Willard and Doug Snyder, Harry Mastne, Katie and Toni Bennet.
