Jean Sorensen, 85 of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of South Sioux City and Westfield, Iowa passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. Services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Jean was born December 13, 1928 in Orchard, Nebraska the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy (Smith) Faith. While living in this area she was employed at the Methodist Hospital in Sioux City. She moved to Missouri twenty-eight years ago to care for her mother. Survivors include two sons: Randy of Clinton, Missouri and Dennis of Kansas City, Missouri, two daughters and their husbands: Wanda and Donnie Bates of Dakota City and Judy and Harvey Bates of South Sioux City, four brothers: Tom Warner of Omaha, Harvey Faith and Roland Faith both of Missouri, Jack Warner of North Carolina, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Jerry Sorensen and a brother Alton Warner. Pallbearers will be Jason Bates, Weldon Messerli, Jose Jimenez, Donnie Bates, Jasper Symons, Tony Sorensen and Clint Jimenez. Following the service at the cemetery there will be a lunch at the Regency Square Conference Room.
