Bonnie L. Lott

Bonnie Lee Lott, 83 of South Sioux City died Friday January 3, 2014 at a South Sioux City Care Center. Abiding by her wishes the body has been cremated and a private family memorial service will be at a later date. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Bonnie was born August 26, 1930 in Homer, Nebraska the daughter of Judd and Lucille (Coats) O’Dell. She graduated from South Sioux City High School and received a teaching degree from Wayne State College. She married Richard N. Lott June 10, 1953 in Carmel, California. She was a teacher in Winner, South Dakota, South Sioux City, Riverside in Sioux City and retired from Sioux City West High School in May of 1992. Survivors include her husband Richard, two sons and their wives: Richard J. and Cherrie Lott of San Diego, California, Robert J. and Rita Lott of Dakota Dunes, two sisters: Mary (Robert) Swett of Kansas City, Missouri and Neala (Wes) Luberstedt of Lexington, Nebraska. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Virginia Lynberg.
