SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE: Judith Jo “Judy” Morgan 80, of rural South Sioux City passed away Sunday March 2, 2014 at her residence. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday at First Lutheran Church in South Sioiux City with the Rev. Sarah Ruch officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Judy was born June 21, 1933 in rural South Sioux City the daughter of Edwin T. and Florence M. “Sweet” Morgan. She graduated from High School and received her bachelor’s degree in teaching from the University Of Nebaska. She received her master’s degree from the University of South Dakota. She taught math in Plattsmouth, Lincoln and South Sioux City, Nebraska. She retired from teaching at Herbert Hover Junior High School in Sioux City. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. Survivors include a brother Scott and his wife Jean Morgan of Allen, Nebraska, a sister Diane Boals of Dakota City, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Larry and his wife Penny Morgan, two nephews: Edwin Boals, Philp Morgan and her beloved cat “Patches”. Pallbearers will be: Mike and Pete Morgan, Wes Boals, Amy “Morgan” Kittams, Bob Anderson, Jim Warren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cindy “Morgan” Anderson, Laurie “Morgan” Warren, Susie “Morgan” Share, Chris Share, Drew Boals, Anne Boals, Linda Boals, Carla Jo Morgan, Kevin Kittams.
