Marlene L. Moes, 66 of rural Dakota City died Thursday March 27, 2014 in rural Dakota City of injuries from a vehicle accident.           Services will be 11:00 Tuesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Winnebago, Nebraska with the Rev. Daniel Wittrock officiating. Burial with military graveside services will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Visitation will be at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday with a Scriptural Wake Service at 7 P.M.           Marlene Louise was born March 26, 1948, in Sioux City the daughter of Vertin T. and Viola A (Williams) Budde. She graduated from Heelan High School. She served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam war. After her discharge from the Air Force, she attended and graduated from Stewart School of Cosmetology in Sioux City.           She married William J. Moes February 23, 1973 in South Sioux City.           She was a former member of the Dakota City American Legion and was actively involved in Dakota County 4-H. She drew and wrote poetry.           Survivors include her husband William, three daughters: Jennifer Moes of St. Louis Missouri, Heather and her husband John Dallen of Sioux City, Lindsey and her husband Marcos Silva of St. Louis, Missouri, a brother Larry and his wife Lilia Budde of Sacramento, California and two grandsons: Tyler Silva and Ethan Dallen.           She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Marie Vavra and Joice Fowler.           Pallbearers will be Dusty DeBuhr, Preston Bodlak, Dustin Petronis, Dan Kincaid, Travis Bodlak and Tom Moes.           Memorial may be directed to the family.
