Esther R. Alexander

Esther R. Alexander, 60, of South Sioux City passed away on Saturday April 26, 2014 at a South Sioux City Care Center.    Following family wishes there will be no services or visitation. The Body will be cremated. Arrangements are under the care of Becker – Hunt Funeral Home.    Esther was born on September 26, 1953 in Norwich, Connecticut to Elbert and Ruth M. (Jacobson) Alexander. She came to South Sioux City in 1976 to be close to her family here. She was employed at Walmart until her retirement in 2009.    She is survived by two brothers; Kenneth Lyons of Preston, Connecticut and William Alexander of Plano, TX., one sister Barbara O’ Dell of South Sioux City, Ne., one sister-In-Law Patricia (Kubik) Lyons of Johnson City, New York, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.    She was preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Ruth Alexander, one brother Charlie Lyons.
