Louis M. Pedersen, 92 of rural Jackson, Nebraska, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at his residence.           Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Jackson with the Rev. Paul Ablenesius officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Jackson, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the church with a prayer service at 7 P.M. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.           Louis M. Pedersen was born June 27, 1921 at Jackson, Nebraska the son of Louis M. and Mary (Anderson) Pedersen. He attended rural school near Jackson and Hubbard High School. He spent his entire life on the farm and his specialty was cattle. He lived on a farm at Jackson, Nebraska since 1950. He was a member of the Co-OP and also served on the Jackson School Board. He married Alice Wenther April 20, 1940 in Le Mars, Iowa.           He is survived by one son Terry Pedersen of Jackson, one daughter Sharie Lieber and her husband Del of South Sioux City, Nebraska, six grandchildren: Kevin and Lannette Pedersen, Greg (Deb) VanCleave, Dan (Deb) Lieber, Randy (Christine) Lieber, Richard (Jennifer) Lieber, eighteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.           He was preceded in death by his wife Alice, July 23, 1999, three sisters, one brother and one great granddaughter Kayla Sue Brewer.           Casket bearers will be Kevin Pedersen, Dan Lieber, Randy Lieber and Richard Lieber: his four grandsons and Zach Brewer and Ryan Pedersen: two of his great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Twohig, Sr, Tom Twohig, Jr, Dan Twohig and K.C. Larsen
