Milton R. Belongea, 82 of rural South Sioux City died Saturday August 16, 2014 at his residence.           Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home. Military graveside services by the American Legion will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in Omaha Valley Cemetery, rural Homer, Nebraska.           Milton Robert Belongea was born June 10, 1932, in Sioux City the son of Clifford M. and Gladys G. (Davies) Belongea. He graduated from Central High School. He was an Air Force Veteran during the Korean War from 1951, spent a time of duty in Korean from 1953 and was honorably discharged April 4, 1955. After his military duty he worked his way through Morningside College graduating in 1971 with a teaching degree. He taught in Jackson, Nebraska until becoming an auto salesman. He then became a licensed Pharmaceutical Tech. He married Bonnie J. Nieman June 19, 1982 in Winnebago, Nebraska.           He was a member of the Elks Club 112 in Sioux City, Iowa.           He liked spending time with family and friends especially his four grandchildren, Izaak, Dale, Logan and Adelynn. He loved watching and listening to all kinds of sports especially the Iowa Hawkeyes. He also enjoyed cooking and fishing.           Survivors include his wife Bonnie, a daughter Michelle and her husband Shannon Kolker of South Sioux City, his four grandchildren,   a brother-in-law Gordon Vickery, his extended family and friends.           He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Gwendolyn Vickery.           Pallbearers will be Shannon Kolker, Rod, Tom, Danny, James and Nick Nieman his grandchildren: Izaak, Dale, Logan and Adelynn Kolker.           He was the best husband, dad and Papa anyone could ever ask for. We love you and you will be missed.
