Donald R. Moore

Donald R. Moore, 58 of South Sioux City passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at a Sioux City Hospital. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Becker- Hunt Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Roach officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Donald Ray was born August 28, 1956 in Sioux City the son of Fred D. and Helen E. (Matney) Moore. He attended South Sioux City Schools. He was employed at Speedy Auto Wash and the Truck Haven. He later was employed in roofing. Survivors include his mother Helen Bahrenfuss of South Sioux City, three sisters: Bonnie Blanford of Sioux City, Betty and her husband John Huls of South Sioux City, Patricia and her husband Michael Goodrich of Lincoln other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Fred, his step-father Paul Bahrenfuss, a brother Freddie Moore, Jr and a brother-in-law Dan Blanford. Pallbearers will be John and Randy Huls, Mike Goodrich, Dave Miller, Russell Chester and Jerry Saltzman.
