Beverly Ann Harris

June 25, 1922 — October 4, 2014

Beverly A, Harris, 92 of South Sioux City passed away Saturday October 4, 2014 at a South Sioux City Care Center.  Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City with the interim Pastor Kelley Pedersen officiating Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 P.M. Beverly was born June 25, 1922 in Allen, Nebraska the daughter of Garland E. and Alda M. (Smith) Mosher. She graduated from high school. She married Marvin N. Harris October 13, 1940, in South Sioux City. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, was involved in the choir, Bible School Peacemakers and Circle One. She loved to cook, sew and do crafts. Survivors include two sons and their wives: Nile and Ruth Harris of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Scott and Charlene Harris of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, three daughters: Sandra and her husband Roy Rymill of Spring Hill, Kansas, Suzanne Harris  of Daytona Beach, Florida, Kristine Bengford of South Sioux City, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren , one great great grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marvin on December 26, 1998, two brothers : Randall G. and David L. Mosher and a sister Bonnie Chapman. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Andrew Rymill, Paul Bengford, Jason, Timothy, Seth and Josh Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. The family would like to thank the Staff at Regency Square and Hospice of Siouxland for their concern and wonderful care for our mother.
