Cathy Ann McCoy

Cathy Ann McCoy, 70 of South Sioux City passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at her residence.           A celebration of life service with family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M.  to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home.  Abiding by Cathy’s wishes, the body was cremated and there will be no other services.           Cathy was born April 13, 1944, in Ponca,Nebraska the daughter of Harry and Irene (Close) McCoy. She attended school in Waterbury, Nebraska. She married Bill Bean.  They later divorced.           Cathy owned and operated her own commercial trucking service, traveling from coast to coast and many other areas.           Survivors include two sons: Bill and his finance KaLyn  Kramper of Salix, Iowa,   Richard and his wife Dawn Bean of Rockford, Illinois, four brothers: Jerry and Bob McCoy  both of South Sioux City, Tommy McCoy of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dick McCoy of Martinsburg, Nebraska and five grandchildren: Levi, Bailee, Breann, Cordell and Colton Bean.           Cathy loved gardening, cooking and sharing time with her family and friends.           Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Jim and Paul McCoy.
