Joaquin Flores

   Joaquin Flores, 45 of Sioux City passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at a Sioux City Hospital.    Services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City with Rev. Jose Mendoza officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Mexico.     Visitation will be from 3 to 5:50 P.M. Thursday and from 8 P.M. until 9:30 P.M. Thursday at the church with a wake service at 8:30 P.M. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.     Joaquin was born April 15, 1969 San to De Mingo, Jalisco, Mexico the son of Jesus and Maria Gonzalez. He attended school and went to mechanic school in Mexico. He came to South Sioux City in 1995. He married Josefina Alvarez at St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City in 2008.     Survivors include his wife Josefina, a son Omar Flores of Sioux City, his parents in Mexico, five brothers and two sisters.
