Wyman G. Roth, 82 of South Sioux City passed away Friday, February 06, 2015 at his residence. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Hope Lutheran Church with the Rev. Randall Knuth officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a lunch at the church following the service at the cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the family present at 6 and a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wyman was born November 5, 1932, in rural Milltown, South Dakota the son of Henry and Othilla (Landenberger) Roth. He served in the navy during peace time. He married Mary Ann Tuel July 3, 1966 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sioux City. He was employed as a fork lift operator at I.B.P. and John Morrell when he retired. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. Survivors include a daughter Kimberly Roth and her fiancé Mike Albers of Sioux City, a son Glenn Roth SR, and his wife Brenda of South Sioux City, three brothers: Darold (Diane Roth of Mitchell, SD, Loran Roth and Orrin (Alice) Roth all of Alexander, SD, a sister Arlene Caldwell of Rapid City, SD, five grandchildren: Katarina Roth and her fiancé Juston Bennett, Zachary Roth, Glenn Roth, Jr, Helen Roth, Angel Roth and two great grandchildren Serenity Roth and Zane Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary January 2, 2009, three brothers: Wilmer, Charles and Russell and two sisters: Stella and Virginia. Pallbearers will be Dawn Kontoz, Del Ray Dorale, David, Casey, Tony and Eric Roth.
