Elaine Palmer

April 25, 1936 — March 9, 2015

Elaine Palmer, 78 of South Sioux City passed Monday March 9, 2015 at her residence.           Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Glad Tidings Church with the rev. Michael Ring officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home will be from 4 to 7 P.M. Wednesday with the family present at 5 P.M.           Elaine was born April 25, 1936 in Winnebago, Nebraska the daughter of Henry B. and Olga (Juzsk) Moorman. She graduated from Dakota City High School. She married Billy F. Palmer. She was employed at various businesses in the Siouxland area and retired from Regency Square Care Center.           Survivors include two son: Bill Palmer of Garretson, SD, Carl and his wife Nancy Palmer of Moorhead, Iowa, two daughters and their husbands: Diana and Bill Ziegenbein of Orchard, NE, Alma and Adrian Reichert of Billings, MT, thirteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandson, a brother Paul and his wife Jolene Moorman of Washington, and half- sister, Bonnie and her husband Jim Countryman of Moville, IA, two sisters-in-law: Mary Palmer and Oma (Ralph) Rogers,           She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Henry, Ed and Don, two sisters: Mary Watson and Elfrieda Shields and a step-sister Rose Moorman.           Pallbearers will be grandsons: Ervin, Leo, Travis Mace, Brenton Palmer, Alex Orozco and Damian Robertson.
