Shirley M. Kuhn

Shirley M. Kuhn, of Wayne, Nebraska formally of Emerson, Nebraska passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at a hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska following a brief illness. Shirley was born March 6, 1929 in Walthill, Nebraska the daughter of Troy and Emma Twyford. She married Harold M. Kuhn August 25, 1946 in Walthill, Nebraska To this union three children were born. Andrew (Karen), Steven (Jolene), and Daneze Hanish (Dean).           She is survived by her husband, children and seven grandchildren: Tom and Katy Kuhn, Nicholas (Suzanne), Jacob (Kelli) Erin (Terry Young) Zachary (Lina) and Caleb Hanish, eleven great grandchildren, a brother John (Della) Twyford, a sister Gladys Washburn and several nieces and nephews.        A celebration of life service for Shirley and Harold will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 15, 2015, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson, Nebraska.           In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
