Natalee Carol Armbright, 68 of rural Dakota City went home to be with her Lord on the 1st of September, 2015. Services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday at Salem Lutheran Church in rural Dakota City with the Rev. Karen Tjarks officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Thursday (today) with a prayer service at 7 P.M. all at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux city. Born on the 4th of December, 1946, in Hayes, Kansas, to Onis J. and Rose (DiMartino) Taylor. Natalee grew up in Kimble, Nebraska, where she graduated from Kimble County High School in 1964. Shen then attended the University of Nebraska (Lincoln), where she met Larry W. Armbright. They were married on the 17th of December, 1966, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on the University campus. Together the embarked on a 20+ year military career with the US Army, moving 15 times in the first 18 years of marriage. A proud and patriotic American, Natalee actively supported her husband and their many military communities around the USA and abroad. They returned home to Dakota city, to the Armbright family homestead, in 2004. In the early 1980’s Natalee established and supervise4d a Mother’s Day Out Program at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Centreville, VA that continues to be a very active and prominent Pre-school. While working full time and raising three teenagers Natalee returned to school, graduating with honors from Strayer University in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in business. Natalee and Larry spent 48years together raising thr5ee children. A loving wife and mother, she was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed antiques, camping, crossword puzzles, TV game shows and Nebraska football. Natalee was a devoted member of Salem Lutheran Church, where she served on several committees, most notable the Worship and Music Committee. She was also involved in Via de Cristo, both in Virginia and later in Nebraska, and other numerous prayer groups and Bible studies. She is survived by her husband Larry, son, Leon Armbright of Lincoln, NE, son, Leland (Aleshia) Armbright of Phoenix, AX, daughter, Lisa (Daniel) Elsberry of Lincoln, NE, 5 grandchildren: Brittany, Megan, AravMarie and Marguerite Armbright, and Lane Elsberry, many nieces, nephews, relative and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Onis and Rose Taylor.
