Liliana Chavez, 26 of South Sioux City passed away Wednesday, October 14. 2015, of injuries received in an automobile accident near Freemont, Nebraska. Memorial services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday October 23, 2015 at St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City, Nebraska with Father David Fulton officiating. Burial of the cremated remains will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, South Sioux City, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Liliana was born October 5, 1989 in Puruandiro, Michoacan, Mexico the daughter of Jose R. Chavez and Lidia Ortiz. She graduated from high school. She married Jorge Medina. She was formerly employed at Cargill Packing Plant in Schuyler, Nebraska. Survivors include her parents: Jose and Lidia of South Sioux City, two brothers: German and Ricardo Chavez both of South Sioux City and a sister Jazmin Chavez of South Sioux City.
