Kerri Lynn "Uma" Hartman

September 21, 1956 — December 1, 2015

          Kerri Lynn “Uma” Hartman, 59, lost her battle with cancer Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at her residence; she has gone home to be with her Lord.           Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kelly Pedersen officiating. Following the service there will be lunch and fellowship with the family in the fellowship hall. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.           Kerri was born September 21, 1956 to Terrance Dean and Mary Joann (Stewart) Kleinberg in Sioux City. She graduated from South Sioux City High School with the class of 1974.           Kerri was an RN and after leaving Mercy Hospital, she worked the last seventeen years at Lifeserve Blood center.           She married her childhood sweetheart, Michael D. Hartman on April 1, 1978 at the First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, NE. Kerri was a proud member there for over fifty years. She was a very active member and was very fond of the church family.           Kerri cherished the time she spent with all of her family, and especially enjoyed being with her grandbabies and loved them all very much.           Surviving family members are: her husband Michael, children and grandchildren: Patrick Gregory and his kids, Casey (Arrianna) Haight, Stacy (Beth Delong), R.J., Jillian Marie (Jaron) Koch and the girls, Sophia, Ava and Jana, Megan (Kyle) Biggerstaff, her mother Mary Joann Kleinberg of South Sioux City, sisters: Jodean (Jeff) Graybill of Sioux City, IA, Pamela (Darren) DeVries of Sgt. Bluff, IA, father-in-law Donald Hartman of Sioux City, IA, sister-in-law Kathy Hartman and a brother-in-law Gary (Michelle) Hartman, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her fur babies: Louie and Midnight.           She was preceded in death by her father Terrance Dean, grandparents; Henry and Eda Kleinberg, Caryl and Auley Stewart and her mother-in-law Jana Hartman.
