Souny Chanthaphaly

Souny Chanthaphaly, 89 of South Sioux City, Nebraska died Monday, January 18, 2016 at her residence.           Memorial services will be Saturday 11:00 A.M. at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City with Rev. Keo Phommarath officiating.           Abiding by her request, the body will be cremated. There will be no visitation prior to the service.           Souny was born June 4, 1926 in Vientian, Laos. She came to the United States in 1980 and had lived in South Sioux City for over ten years.           Survivors include a daughter Ketmany Phgongsa of Dakota City, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren and other relatives in Laos.
