Barbara Jean Preston

Barbara Jean Preston, 73 of South Sioux City died Friday February 19, 2016 at a South Sioux City Care Center. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with Father David Fulton officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Barbara was born October 27, 1942 in Columbus, Nebraska the daughter of John and Gladys (Pruitt) Preston. She had lived in Columbus and Beatrice, Nebraska before moving to South Sioux City in 1976. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Survivors include two brothers: Jack Preston of Freeburg, Illinois, William Preston of Portland, Oregon, two sisters: Mary Lindquist of Portland, Oregon, and Patricia Preston of Columbus, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Carol Couch.
