Loretta A. Goergen 92 of South Sioux City passed away Saturday March 5, 2016 at her home. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church with the Rev. David Fulton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 P.M Wednesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the family present at 6 P.M. and a scriptural wake service at 7 P.M. Loretta was born July 27, 1923 in Crofton, Nebraska the daughter of Jacob J. and Louise E. (Bruder) Feldhacker. She graduated from Catholic Academy High School in Sioux City. She married Francis E. Goergen October 8, 1942 in Jackson, Nebraska. She was employed at Savages, Churches and Edwards I.G.A. Grocery Stores for twenty-five years. She later was employed at Perkins Office Solutions for twenty-four years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons and their wives: Gerald and Pamela Goergen of Alvin, Texas, Kirk and LuAnne Goergen of Kingsland, Georgia a daughter Jeri and her husband Jerry Fergen of South Sioux City, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Francis, September 1, 1990, two brothers James and Charles Feldhacker, a sister Laverta Antoine and a great great grandchild Tyson. Pallbearers will be Rick Fergen, Corey, Jacob, and Jarrod Goergen, Marvin Rasmussen and Manford Peters. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed St. Michael Catholic Church
