Audrey L. Leedom

Audrey Lee Leedom, 76, formerly of Allen, Nebraska passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at a South Sioux City Care Center.           Services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Kelley Pedersen officiating. Burial will be in the Dakota City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.           Audrey was born April 26, 1939 in Homer, Nebraska the son of James F. and Isola J. (Clift) Leedom. He grew up in rural Dakota and Dixon Counties and attended rural Plum Grove School.           Audrey had limited eye-sight but loved growing up and living on the farm. He moved to South Sioux City in 2008.           He was a Lutheran.           Survivors include three sisters: Edna Lindgren of Sioux City, Marjorie Dicus of Killeen, Texas, Juanita and her husband Larry Murfin of Wakefield, Nebraska, and several nieces and nephews.           Pallbearers will be great nephews: Brad Lindgren, Steve Leedom, Scott Leedom, Layne Stewart, Russ Leedom, D.J. Lindgren and Josh Lindgren. Honorary pallbearers will be his loving great Nieces and Nephews.           He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Fred, Wilbur and Jimmie Leedom.
