Viola Mae Greene, 92 of South Sioux City passed away Friday March 25, 2016 at a Sioux City Hospital. Graveside services will be 2:30 P.M. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa with the Rev. Clyde Pritchett officiating. Visitation with the family will be Monday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home from 4 to 7 P.M. Viola was born February 15, 1924 in South Sioux City the daughter of Ralph G. and Argie W. (DeForest) Tebben. She graduated from South Sioux City High School. She was a lifelong resident of South Sioux City marrying Marlowe Greene, Jr March 5, 1943 in South Sioux City. She was employed at Coast to Coast in South Sioux City, Younker Martins in Sioux City. She was a 4-H Leader and a member, and a member of the Happy Hour Club for fifty years. Survivors include two daughter and their husbands: Susan “Susie” and Roger Monk of South Sioux City, Mary “Pat” (Elwyn) Carr of Cherryville, Kansas, a brother-in-law Roy Krabbenhoft of Apple Valley, Minnesota, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marlowe April 16, 2005, three sisters: Phyllis Krabbenhoft, Shirley Meier and Janice Hansen. Pallbearers will be Nate Dicks, Lee Orr, Rosalind Owens, Brittney Orr, Whitney Gill and KyRaya Gill and Toby Royster.
