Marjorie E. Teager

July 19, 1928 — June 28, 2016

Marjorie E. Teager, 87 of rural Dakota City passed away Tuesday June 28, 2016 at her residence.           Services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City with Rev. Gary Panko officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with a prayer and sharing time at 7 p.m.           Marjorie Elaine Teager was born July 19, 1928 in Wausa, Nebraska the daughter of Fridolph E. and Signe L. (Johnson) Lindstrom. She graduated from Wausa High School in 1945 and Nettleton Business College in Sioux City. She married Paul F. Teager November 19, 1949 in Wausa, Nebraska. The couple farmed in the South Sioux City area.           She enjoyed quilting, loved to fish and camp, gardening and square dancing. She loved traveling, going on cruises, and spending time at their cabin in Canada.           Survivors include three sons: Larry P. (Charlyn) Teager of South Sioux City, Nebraska, Patrick (Patricia) Teager of Jackson, Nebraska, Robert (Carla) Teager of Blair, Nebraska, a daughter Jeri Lynn Book and her finance Dave Snakenberg of Sioux City, Iowa, a brother Phillip Lindstrom of Hampton, VA, a sister Marilyn (Darvey) Westre of Urban Dale, Iowa, eight grandsons: Eric, Bryce, Seth, Levi, Michael, Bradley and Paul E. Teager, Ryan Book and his favorite granddaughter Leslie Book and 15 great grandchildren.           She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul July 17, 2009, a brother and his wife Robert “Bob” and o.           Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.           Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church or Hospice of Siouxland.
