Larry A Matz

Larry Allen Matz 78 of South Sioux City passed away Friday July 1, 2016 at a Sioux City Hospital.           Respecting his request the family arranged for cremation. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.           Larry was born February 25, 1938 in Sioux City the son of John C. and Burnest V. (Wood) Matz. He was employed at Zenith. He served in the U.S. Army from November 30, 1961 to November 23, 1963. After his discharge he owned a bar in La Sur, MN. He then was employed at a plastics manufacturing plant also in Minnesota. After retiring he returned to South Sioux City.           Survivors include a daughter Ann Ferris of South Sioux City and a son Larry Matz, JR of South Sioux City, two brothers: John H. Matz of South Sioux City, Jim Matz of Vermillion, SD other relatives and friends.
