                     Pickens “Inloe” Jennings, SR of Homer, NE died Friday, July 8, 2016 at his home in Kermit, TX.             A service of an Evening Of Remembrance will be 7 P.M. Wednesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska with Gary “Wick” Fisher and speakers Karen “McKenna” Fisher and Raymond Rameriz officiating.             Visitation with the family will begin Wednesday from 2 to 4 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial and graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Riverview Cemetery in Chamberlain, SD.             “Inloe” was born July 3, 1937 to Clarence and Margaret Jennings on the tobacco plantation in Amsterdam, GA where his father was a carpenter foreman. He attended schools in Attapulgas, GA and Quincy, FL. He married Dale Evans and had three sons by that union then divorced in 1961.             In 1962 he moved to Chamberlain , SD where he met and married the love of his life Joanne Fisher. They moved to Sioux City, IA where he joined the Carpenters Local 948 being a member for over 55 years. He became a foreman for Holtze Construction and W.A. Klinger retiring in 2000. As a master carpenter he left his print on many projects throughout the country including the St. Lawrence Seaway is Mesina, NY and Great Bend Dam in Ft Thompson, SD. He took great pride in his accomplishments.             As a good ole’ southern boy he had racing fever in his blood and took up racing stock cars at Raceway Park in South Sioux City for many years before giving it up and moving to an acreage outside of Homer, NE where he loved living the country life.             After retirement because of his love for Gospel and Country music he decided to start his Mr. D.J. business doing Karaoke parties for friends and family. He also loved to dance traveling all over the country and bringing home many memories. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, in South Sioux City, NE.             Due to poor health, the couple moved to Kermit, TX in 2015 to be close to his wonderful son and family. He was so happy to be able to be with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and had just celebrated his birthday with them July 3, 2016.             Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Joanne, son Ray and wife Janette, grandsons Aaron, Daniel and Noah, Pickens III (Trey) and wife Abigail, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.             He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother, three infant children, two sons, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter.
