Thelma Katherine Harris

   Thelma Katherine Harris, 98, of South Sioux City formerly of rural South Sioux City, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2016 at a South Sioux City Care Center. Pastor Gary Harris officiated at the family graveside service in Omaha Valley Cemetery, rural Homer, Nebraska under the direction of Becker- - Hunt Funeral Home.    Thelma was born December 31, 1917 in Keota, Colorado the daughter of Cyrus C. and Katherine J. (Harmon) Roby. She married Harold Kay “H.K.” Harris December 28, 1933 in Elk Point, South Dakota.    She was a former member of Salem Lutheran Church.      Survivors include a son Kay H. Harris and his wife Sandra of Dakota Dunes, S.D., a daughter Karmen Jacobsen of Bakers Field, C.A., five grandchildren: Kyle Harris, Stacey (Bob) Graiziger, Alicia (Tom) Kodute, Paul and David Jacobsen and four great grandchildren.     Thelma was preceded in death by her husband “H.K.” July 17, 1995, and an infant son, two brothers: Gerald and Lynell Roby and a sister Wilma Rudd.
