Helen L Marshall

         Helen Lucille Marshall, 92 of South Sioux City passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at a South Sioux City Care Center           Abiding with Helen’s wishes, burial of the cremated remains will be in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, beside her husband Otto, at a later date. There will be no services. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.           Helen was born February 1, 1924, in Hartington, Nebraska the daughter of William and Irene (Mc Fadden) Hanika. She graduated from Wynot, Nebraska High School. After graduation she came to Sioux City looking for employment.           Helen married Otto Bottolfson April 9, 1945 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Sioux City, Iowa. He died December 30, 1982. She then married Mark Marshall February 14, 1986 in St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City. He died November 2, 1992.           Helen is survived by three daughters: Costance Bottolfson of Sioux City, Cathleen Ann (Larry) Hansen and Cynthia Sue (Darrell) Miller all of Wayne, Nebraska, four grandchildren: Jacob Hansen of Wayne, Nebraska, Andrea (Rob) Zara of Wayne, Nebraska, Jessica (T.J.) Marsh of Fremont, Nebraska, Tyler Jorgensen and his companion Shannon of Wichita, Kansas, three great grandchildren: Cooper and Parker Zara of Wayne, Nebraska, Tucker Marsh of Fremont, Nebraska, two sisters: Zita Parker and Midge (Bob) Hamilton all of Spokane, Washington and many nephew and nieces.           Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, four sisters: and their husbands: Wilma Peters, Loretta Oursland, Marguerite Johnson, Betty Lou Orvis and a brother Billy Hanika.
