Anthony "Tony" G. Koch of South Sioux City passed away at his residence Sunday, December 18th, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. He retired from a working career in the meat-packing industry in 2003. His joys came from being with his family and playing guitar. Tony had a great sense of humor and was a man of few words. His love of family was evident in the decisions he made in life. As a man of faith, he dedicated many hours to St. Michael's Catholic Church.    Tony is survived by his wife, Joan (Shoecraft), of 59 years; four sons: Steve (Kathy) of South Sioux City, Jerrold (Tammi) of Box Elder, SD, Paul (Tammy) of Lincoln, Neb., and Richard of Dakota City, Neb.; three daughters: Rebecca Petersen of Lawrenceville, Ga. Kim (Kevin) Criddle of Sioux City, and Carol (Doug) Glackin of Moville, Iowa; Daughter-in-Law: Lynn (Wisnieski) Koch.; 18 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.    He was preceded into death by his parents; brother Cletus Koch and 2 sisters, Hilaria Dickes and Lorraine Derby, both of South Sioux City; son Jeff Koch; daughter-in-law Michelle Koch and granddaughter Molly.   We will share memories of him in all our gatherings and honor him in the laughter we share. He was the best dad ever.
