John C. Vanston

         John C. Vanston, 56 of South Sioux City died Sunday December 18, 2016 at a Sioux City Hospital.           Graveside services with military flag presentation by the American Legion will be 2:30 P.M, Thursday at the Dakota City Cemetery. There will be no visitation at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home.         John was born July 10, 1960 in Weaverville, California the son of Leland E. and Goldie M. (Neely) Vantson SR. He moved with his family to South Sioux City in 1962. He was employed at Cable One for seventeen years. He was presently employed at Advanced Auto Parts in Sioux City.           Survivors include a son Cristian Vanston of South Sioux City, three daughters: Kristie Vanston and Mistie Vanston both of South Sioux City and Natasha Krentz of Minnesota, a brother Leland JR of Oklahoma, four sisters: Shirley Murren of South Sioux city, Roberta Morris of Georgia, Debra Vanston of South Sioux City, Mary Vanston of California and one granddaughter Tyler.
