Doris L. Husted

   Doris L. Husted, 87 of South Sioux City passed away Tuesday January 17, 2017 at a Sioux City Hospital.    Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Randolph Funeral Home in Seymour, Iowa with Rev. Shawn LaRue officiating. Burial will be in the Confidence Cemetery, Confidence, Iowa. Becker – Hunt Funeral; Home was in charge of the local arrangements.    Doris was born December 1, 1929 in Bonaparte, Iowa the daughter of Lloyd and Myrtle (Schenk) Jones. She graduated from high school and attended college for two years.    She married George L. Husted November 13, 1949 in Salem, Iowa. The couple moved to South Sioux City in 1979.    Survivors include two sons: Brian and his wife Cheryl of Valparaiso, NE, Merrill of South Sioux City a sister Mary Lou Roberts of Missouri, three grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George December 2, 1985, a brother Myron Jones, two sisters: Betty and Leona and a grandchild Brent.
