Shirley M Oehlerking

Shirley M. Oehlerking 85 of South Sioux City passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at a Sioux City Hospital.           Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Dill officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home from 4 to 8 P.M. with the family present at 6 P.M.           Shirley Mary Andersen was born July 1, 1931` in Dixon County, Laurel, Nebraska the daughter of Pete and Gerda V. (Jensen) Andersen. She graduated from Laurel Nebraska High School in 1949. She received her L.P.N. Certificate from W.I.T. She married Richard Ohlerking in 1955. They later divorced.           She was a member of First Lutheran Church.           Survivors include a son Scott R. and his wife Kim Oehlerking of Sioux Falls, SD, two daughters: Candace Davies and fiancie Tom McConnell of Rapid City, SD, Brenda Oehlerking and son-in-law Gordie Sitzman of South Sioux City, six grandchildren, Alexa Davies, Cullen Davies, Drew Oehlerking, Alec Oehlerking, Avery Sitzman and Addie Sitzman.           She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Vivian Harrington and Ruby Andersen.           Pallbearers will be: Cullen Davies, Drew Oehlerking, Alec Oehlerking, Tom McConnell, Scott Oehlerking, Gordie Sitzman.
