Randy Allen Dirks

Randy A. Dirks, 58, of South Sioux City passed away Monday July 31, 2017 at his residence. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday August 5, 2017 at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with Father Mike Keating officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Randy was born September 29, 1958 in Rock Rapids, IA the son of Melvin W. and Phyllis L. (TeKrony) Dirks. He graduated from Central Lyon High School and from Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg, with a degree in Automotive Technology. He married Margaret R. “Maggie” Voss July 23, 1982 in Emerson, NE. He is survived by his wife Maggie, two daughters Jacque and her husband Patrick Kelly of Brooklet, GA, Jimi and her husband Brandon Byrnes of Statesboro, GA, a son John Dirks of South Sioux City, two brothers, Gerald Dirks and Douglas Dirks, both of Rock Rapids, IA, and four grandchildren: Caleb, Christopher, Anita, and Claire and two brothers: Gerald Dirks and Douglas Dirks both of Rock Rapids, SD.
