Johnny Ray Starks

Johnny R. Starks passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at a local hospital in Sioux City. Private family services will be held at a later date. Becker Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Johnny Ray Starks was born August 6, 1952 in Pierce, Nebraska the son of Goradon and Alice Irene (Kastrup) Starks. He graduated from Laurel High School, and for the past four years resided in South Sioux City where he worked for Tysons. Johnny is survived by two brothers, Jerry Starks of Sioux City, Jack and Trudy Starks of Concord, NE, two sisters Jane Lubberstedt of Denison, IA, June Resso of Sioux City, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jule Starks, and one brother in-law Bill Lubberstedt.
