Shirley Ann Stingley

   Shirley Ann Stingley, 77 of South Sioux City passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at a South Sioux City Care Center.     Abiding by Shirley’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Becker – Hunt Funeral Home is assisting the family with the final arrangements.     Shirley was born October 5, 1939, in Walthill, Nebraska the daughter of Orin R. and Dorothy L. (Bunch) Amick. She graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1957. She attended Business College in Sioux City. She married Gary A. Stingley August 9, 1958 in South Sioux City. She was employed at Cargill in Sioux City for over twenty-five years and retired in 2003.     Survivors include a son Bryan and his wife Nancy Stingley of Jackson, NE, three daughters: Brenda and her husband Steve Scavo of York, NE, Becca Stingley of Waterbury, NE, Bobbie and her husband Jeremy Bernadt of Lincoln, NE, a sister Renee and her husband Mike Kavanaugh of South Sioux City, four grandchildren: Lyndsay (Dustin) Williams, Leah (Alex) Heithoff, Carson ( Dustin) Roth, Jarrett Denker, and two great grandchildren: Kadin Tesar and Spencer Williams.     Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary October 12, 1990, and a brother Gary Amick.
