Mary Louise Watson

Mary L. Watson 75, of South Sioux City passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at a South Sioux City Care Center.    Services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with the Evangelist Edward Treadway officiating. Burial will be in Omaha Valley Cemetery, rural Homer, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 P.M.    Mary was born March 1, 1942 in Moline, Illinois the daughter of Edgar T. and Florence L. (Emery) Trickey. She grew up in South Sioux City and attended school in South Sioux City. She married Laurence C. “Buss” Watson April 8, 1967 in South Sioux City.    She was employed at Edwards I.G.A., South Sioux City Community Schools, the Co-Op and the Sunshine Grocery all in South Sioux City before retiring.    She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in South Sioux City.    Mary enjoyed bingo, cross stitch and her friendly furry friends.    She is survived by her husband Laurence, many nieces and nephews, cousins and her furry friends.    She was preceded in death by her parents.
