Nancy A. McLaughlin

   Nancy Aline McLaughlin, 68 of Sioux City, formerly of Emerson, NE passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at a Sioux City Hospital.    Services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home with Rev. Paul M. Albenesious officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery, Lyons, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.    Nancy was born June 27, 1949 in Emerson, Nebraska the daughter of Alvin and Sally (VanLent) Paulsen. She graduated from high school and college with a degree in accounting. After graduation from college she was employed in accounting and later was HBA Manager at Hy Vee on Hamilton Blvd in Sioux City.    In 1968 she married Lloyd C. McLaughlin in Emerson, Nebraska.    Nancy is survived by her husband Lloyd, a son Patrick “Pat” McLaughlin of Sioux City, two sisters: Jeanette and her husband Fred Grove of Bigelow, Arkansas, Theresa and her husband Greg Naber of Lincoln, NE, several nieces and nephews.    She was preceded in death by her parents.
