Leoncio Mancilla, 64 of South Sioux City. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 4 p.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista Church (816 B Street South Sioux City) with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the church. A funeral service will be on Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. A second Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery, Omaha. Mr. Mancilla died at his home on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in South Sioux City. Becker Hunt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Leoncio was born February 21, 1953 in Linares, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Guadalupe and Victoria (Rivera)Mancilla. He grew up in Reynosa Tam., Mx. He came to the United States in the early 1970’s. He was employed as a trainer for Tyson Foods. Leoncio was a member of the Primera Iglesia Bautista of South Sioux City NE. He was one of the founding members of the church. He dedicated his life to serving God. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. He is survived by his wife, Zulema C. Ortega; his children, daughter Jacqueline (Noe) Contreras of Worthington MN; sons Leoncio Jr. (Julissa) Mancilla and Daniel (Sandra) Mancilla both of Andrews TX; Cesar (Juanita) Morales and Adan Moreles both of South Sioux City NE; Eleven granchildren; Noelia, Mariana, Jacob, Brianna, Benjamin, Kaylee, Sebastian, Anthony, Cesar Jr, Christian and Yaneli; two brothers Silverio (Andrea) Mancilla of Streamwood IL and Guadalupe Mancilla of Omaha NE; two sisters Lilia (David) Krystof and Imelda (Samuel) Lara both of Omaha NE; many brothers and sisters in Christ. He is proceeded in death by his father Guadalupe Mancilla and brother Francisco Mancilla.
