  Michael F. Borgheiinck, 59, of Leander, TX, formerly Sioux City, IA, died of ALS Feb 25, 2018, at home with family present.      Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Good News Baptist Church in Sioux City, IA with Pastor John Woodford officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday , at Good News Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Butts officiating an evening service. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Hunt Funeral Home.      Michael Borgheiinck, son of Stephen and June Borgheiinck, was born March 25, 1958, in Sioux City, IA, one of nine children. He graduated from South Sioux Senior High School with the class of 1976.      He married Shirley M. Porter on October 22, 1977, and they enjoyed countless years together working in many church ministries. He was a member of Union Hall Baptist Church in Liberty Hill, TX. He also enjoyed working on vehicles, fixing anything that was a challenge to him. He found happiness in sharing his faith with everyone he met. He felt most joy spending time with his children and grandchildren, teaching them not only how to change their oil, but most importantly showing them the true love of Christ. Michael was a very loving husband and father. He spent over 30 years employed in the Vending Food Service industry. He made many friends and spoke very highly of his passion for his job.    His love and faith will live on in the hearts of his wife, Shirley M. Borgheiinck; his daughters, Heather (Leoris) Heins and Laci (John) Morris; his grandchildren, Peyton Borgheiinck, Madison and Maci Rojo, Sophia, Oliver, and Wyatt Morris; and his siblings Denise Bligh of Cushing, IA, Edie (Rick) Simons of Sioux City, IA, Marsha (Dave) Anderson of Grand Island, NE, Paula (Duane) Jenson of South Sioux City, NE, Leonard (Tara) Borgheiinck of Omaha, NE, and Keith (Mechelle) Offerman of South Sioux City, NE. He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, a brother, a nephew, and a great niece.
