Dick Grover, 79, of Sioux City, passed away unexpectedly at a local hospital on Friday, October 19, 2018. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dick was born on October 14, 1939 in Fremont, Nebraska to Roy and Marcella Grover. He was in the United States Marine Corps. Dick was united in marriage to Trudy Banks on January 27, 1979 in Storm Lake, Iowa. He worked construction and as a truck driver for many years before retiring in 2016. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Those left to honor his memory include his wife Trudy Grover, Sioux City; 4 children: Dean, Annette, and Scott Vance, and Brian Grover, all of Fremont; 2 step-children: Brandon Hudson, Sioux City, and Brenda Hudson, Sioux Falls, SD; adopted daughter, Jessica Martin, Estherville, IA; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Terry Grover.
